Callahan is generally seen as an offensive line guru, and we gave this guy the best ingredients to go ahead and put together an offensive line.
3 first round draft picks, and some solid contributors.
Even with the draft picks, I think when this line is productive, we'll have to give him a lot of credit for it. I think he brought Doug Free back from the brink, and he has helped mold Bernadeau and Leary into solid players.
Which brings me to my point. Given the shenanigans of what happened, it'll be difficult to see him staying with the Cowboys beyond this year and I really hope he stays. It would be great to see him continue to develop this line in perpetuity. I'm not just excited about the starting line but guys like Wetzel and Pughsley. I think we should have some real depth there next year. It's a shame though that Weems and Parnell seem to have slipped back. Hopefully Parnells can be redeemed like Free was.
