Tomorrow here in Tucson, Circuit City is opening a new store. Signing autographs and posing for pictures will be Jay Novacek, Drew Pearson, and some of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

If you want directions, times, etc. PM me for details.

I think they should have David Boston, Andre Wadworth, Thomas Jones, and Wendell Bryant open the store. Surely that would be a better draw than some old Cowboys players. ;)

Maybe it's just the Phoenix metro as opposed to Tuscon, but everywhere I go, I get bashed for being a Cowboys fan. No doubt that there are a lot of Cowboy fans here but Phoenix also seems to have as many if not more Green Bay fans. And there are a ton of Eagles,Viking and Raider fans too. The only time I see a ton of Cowboy fans are when they play here but aside from that, I don't see many at sports bars watching games like I do with fans of the teams mentioned above especially Packer and Raider fans.

To be honest, the only fans that I really see dominate football in Phoenix are Nebraska fans. We have a ton of Nebraska fans with "Big Red" stores and Cornhusker bars being advertised everywhere. I'm still in search of a great Cowboys bar. I'm sure there are a couple here but they aren't high profile.

That is really cool. Well worth it to go talk with Jay.
I met him here in Denver when he was opening a Sports Clips. He was so down to earth. Very nice guy. I had him sign a Football Card and talked to him for a while. I was the only one there at the time so it was cool not to be in a hurry for other people.

My son had a Dallas Cowboy hat on, and when we were leaving he said, "you want me to sign your kids hat". He was just a really cool guy.

I really wish I could meet Drew Pearson. He was my favorite player as a kid as well as Dorsett.

My last name is Pearson to, and I always used to try and convience people I was related to him. The stupid lies kids will try to tell.

When I played Football I always got 88, and with Pearson on the back I was always so proud.

Anyone who gets a chance to go, enjoy!

Supposedly these two places are good for watching Cowboys Bars; Famous Sam's and Vine Tavern.

Open a sporting goods store and see what merchandise sells.

:wink2:

There's a Famous Sam's here on Golf Links and Kolb that is a Cowboys bar. I eat there all the time.

Drew is one of my all time favorite Cowboys.

BTW, I intend to invite them here.

I used to frequent the Vine and it's like any other sports bar in that you get a mixture of fans. Famous Sams is a chain of neighborhood bars so I suppose it depends where you live. If the neighborhood you live in has many Cowboy fans, it will thus be filled with many Cowboys fans. The one I used to live by in Ahwatukee used to be filled with Bears fans...yeah Bear fans supposedly exist. :)
