1) Moving him for the sake of not having a decent FS....yet.
2) The owner also was responsible for Q. Carter. He wasn't a top anything either. Shows ya how much Jerry knows.

Watkins played really well there at the end. The only reason Henry would be moved is due to the investment not because Watkins can't play the position.

The only reason Jerry would say what he did is because he heard it from Bill. I would venture to say Bill talked to Henry about it as well. Then we get an official statement from Henry's agent but Jerry just pulled that out of no where. Not going to buy that one.

Henry hips are too slow to play CB.

Yeah he was reported to be hurt but he has been hurt every year. Henry has good instincts he is just too slow to play CB in my opinion unless Dallas puts Newman on the #1 guy no matter where he goes. That would prevent teams from trying to mismatch on Henry.

I like Henry personally, seems like a good guy. Problem I have with Henry is his cornerback speed, not very good. Maybe it's because of the injury or whatever, but I would love to move him to FS and draft or Free Agent another corner with speed.

Now I personally think he would do good perhaps in a cover 2 scheme, we'll just have to see what the new DC brings to the table. Maybe he can still be a starter if the scheme changes where he's not playing Man on Man against burners.

You don't have to be nearly as fast to play that position.

Most of the time, he will just be lurking around in the secondary, maybe applying double teams against a dangerous receiver, and even if he is matched up on a receiver, he's playing 15 to 20 yards off the LOS, I think he can handle that situation.

He is also one of the more aggressive DBs when the ball is in the air. I can guarantee you that if it were him in the backfield with Plax in the endzone, Plax would not have come down with that ball.

If he embraces it, he could put up double digit INTs next season.

Already did that with Watkins and we're still takin our lumps. Will JJ ask Henry to play the position for FS money? If he does, will Henry do that? Lot of possible kinks here.

Yet another reason......Jerry's frustrated and Parcells' only course of action was to put Henry at FS, now. Only because Watkins is a rookie and Davis sucks. He'd do that and play Aaron and possibly Jacques until Watkins showed signs of a full cranium. Yes, Bill may have talked to him about that sceneario. I never said Jerry pulled that out of nowhere. My six year old son saw that coming......our safety's stink, Henry's dabbled there before.

Newman played the slot. Henry and Glenn were too busy getting burnt on the outside.

I believe the Cowboys will take Henry and his 3.6 million '07 salary and find another player.

3.6 mil will buy you a good CB in this league.

It's better than having to do a Henson and eating the money. We have plenty of room under the cap to bring another CB in if need be.

The game that comes to mind is the Lions. Roy Williams would turn Henry and then make a cut. Henry was so slow getting his hips turned and getting back to the WR.

True but we are paying Henry for something more than he has given us. He has been hurt every year for us so there are some durability concerns.

Durability. Henry has a good record there. Groin pulls like last year can happen to anyone. The Knee thing this year could be a concern- though BP said it was NOT chronic.
