Last season we traded up to number 6 to take Claiborne. I was extremely happy with the trade even though we lost our 2nd. After that Crawford, Wilber, Johnson, Hanna, and McSurdy. I hated all picks but Hanna and as it turns out I stood correct. I would have taken these players instead.
3rd TY Hilton
4th Jared Crick
4th Josh Chapman
5th Brandon Washington
6th Nate Potter
7th David Molk

I don't like any pick but the Terrance Williams pick. Hate the Fredrick pick and the TE and the safety at that spot. My redo would go like this......
18 Sherrif Floyd
2nd round Larry Warford
3rd Damontre Moore

or with the moronic JJ trade

31 Menalik Watson
2nd Montee Ball
3rd Damontre Moore
3rd Phillip Thomas

Loved what we did in 10 and 11 but the past two drafts minus Claiborne have been UGLY.

Your alternative drafts suck. I much prefer what the Cowboys did today.
Agreed. He should "call it like he sees it" to himself.

Yeah, so now we have Murray, Bryant, Austin, Harris, Witten, Escobar, Williams and Hanna. That's 8 players, only 5 can be on the field at one time. Who's blocking for them? Who? Who is on the right side of this line giving Romo time to throw to any of these guys? Nobody!!!!!! Same problem, different season.

This draft could have been all lineman both offense and defense and would be better than this crap.

Crawford is going to be a really good player for us...

Judging a draft 1 year removed is ridiculous... 3 years is the measuring stick...

Parnell either starts at right tackle, or Dallas brings in Clabo or Winston.

Some combination of Livings, Frederick, Costa, Bernadeau and Leary starts on the interior. If Dallas gets Clabo, he could start on the interior if Parnell wins the starting job at tackle.

Or Dallas could end up bringing in Brandon Moore.

As of now-I agree. Wouldn't mind drafting Quessenberry & even signing Winston, if indeed we become Freeless.

Smith
Costa----I meant Fred
Bernadeau
Leary
Winston/Quessenberry

Just a hunch....JJ was all over Leary last year with the pick, yet he hardly played.

You don't think T. Fred ends up starting?

Can't say I'm thrilled with this draft, but I have seen worse for sure.

I think it will be more like:

Smith
Livings
Costa
Frederick
Winston

I'd rather it be:

Smith
Moore
Frederick
Clabo
Parnell (with Parnell proving good enough to allow Clabo to replace a guard)

To me, that would be a good mixture of experience and youth.

What's the fun in that?

:laugh2:

Exactly... it's the "look at me" mentality...

Tom Landry said you can never judge a draft until three years after the fact. Unfortunately for him, we have a plethora of draft experts that prove him wrong on a daily basis...

Oh wait... Randy White would have been cut after his first two years...
