Tevin Coleman is a name that will be forgotten in 3 years, imo. He's climbed the rankings only in the last month or so (without playing any additional football) because of a 40 time... and the gradual acceptance that we were never really in a position to make a play for Gurley or Gordon. He has a one-dimensional game- run fast, straight, through open holes. The guy has no change of direction, doesn't really create any runs on his own and looks uncomfortable- big frame, big feet. Behind this line he could see some success, but so could a number of mediocre backs. Reminds me of a bigger, more awkward Felix Jones. Sound decision would be to get a guy who doesn't need a great o-line to create runs, and give him one. He's a candidate for a reach/bust that I'd prefer to let someone else make.
Lol.....couldn't be any further from the truth. I'm just upset that it looks like I will never be able to say I told you so....he put up big numbers against big teams. It's easy to watch the highlights and say huge hole but fact is not many take it to the house against good teams when those holes are presented.....try watching a full game and you will see a tough inside runner who is usually met at the line of scrimmage by 2-3 defenders and constantly get 3 yards anyway. Go watch a game, not just highlights.
