Given the issues with Spence...to include an arrest at Eastern Kentucky for public intoxication in 2015, I wouldn't be surprised to see him available at #34 in the 2nd...similar to Gregory in last years draft. That said, I also wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the 1st...perhaps higher than some project/expect. There's not too terribly much that shocks me in the draft anymore...though there's always some surprises.

Hell, despite his lack of sacks in college (not tackles, TFL's & pressures), I didn't expect Danielle Hunter to last well into the 3rd round in last years draft...given his size, athleticism, upside, and character. The Vikings actually traded back to 88th overall in the 3rd before selecting him.

Jerry has mentioned they won't necessarily be adverse to taking some risks...despite the recent suspensions of Scandrick, Gregory, & McClain. But risks should be at least somewhat minimized as much as possible. I don't really see Spence at #4. Perhaps if trading down...or definitely if he were to fall to #34.

They're not going to draft Randy Gregory two years in a row. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they traded back, but really doubt Spence is even on their board.

I think if we traded back into first it would be because we drafted Bosa at 4 and a QB slid like lynch
