Calling out all Atlanta area fans or those in town for the Dallas vs. Atlanta game

At this point I'm *thinking* about doing this.

My condo complex has a pretty nice clubhouse that I can reserve for only a $25 deposit.

I was thinking we should try to round up as many Cowboys fans for Friday night, before the Dallas vs. Atlanta game (Dec. 14th) for beer, liquor, and catered food w/some music and perhaps some Cowboys DVD's to watch as well. Charge something like $5 a head or whatever so I can break even on the expenses.

In order to do this, I need a pretty strong confirmation of who would go to this.

I live in the Vinings area, which is about 10-15 minutes away from the Georgia Dome, Downtown, and Buckhead areas.

Just reply here if you're pretty sure that you would go to this.

Thanks,

Heh. I work in Vinings. Or at least in that no-mans land that seems to exist between Vinings and Cobb Parkway (Smyrna-ings? ) Anyways, this sounds interesting. I'd be in if we can get more than 10 ppl or so. If not we'd just be better off heading over to Jocks and Jills or somewhere and watching the game.

I'll be at the game. I'm talking about throwing a party/get together the night before the game. The game isn't until Saturday Night at 7pm, so we could possibly do something before the game, but we'd be running into issues with people that want to tailgate at the Stadium (although tailgating is so bad at the Ga. Dome you're better off doing it elsewhere).

If enough people commit it might be worth using my frequent flyer miles to come in and meet with y'all.

I think that is a cool idea...I am a grad student at GA Tech and would definitely participate. I had been going to this bar called Rocky Mountain near the school that is the official bar for the Eagles. These guys are insane and hate to lose! I admit I was there when we lost to them (the only cowboys fan there with my RW jersey but I was proud and brave) and they rubbed it in.

N E Way...I will come if you get enough people.

I've been to Rocky Mountain pizza tons of times. Never for Eagles games, though.

have you notice the Mcnubb jersey they have hanging behind the bar? The day I went for the Cowboys game they were actually burning T.O. eagle jersey outside. I didnt get into any fights and for the most part they pretty much just talked alot of trash and the normal "Dallas Sucks" chants.

Oh I did learn the eagles fight song of "Fly Eagles Fly" or whatever it is...

Is there an official Cowboys bar in Atlanta i can watch the games?

I live in the Snellville area. Pretty good odds I'll be in town on the 14th, but I can't guarantee it until my December vacation plans are settled.

But yes, I'm interested.
