Just because it's Thanksgiving, it doesn't mean you have to play like a turkey.

Well, just didn't want to see my boy left out of this jolly little call out party...Tnew, defensive game MVP for not holding onto a pick, rookie right tackle Rob, Julius, Drew, Bill, Aaron, Key, Sean and whoever else is being roasted over the pits tonite. Sorry if I missed any.

Bunch a bums..and oh yeah, Fergy..he let Dayne run free. :laugh2:

Don't forget the playcalling. That one screws up every week.

And Bill Parcells too for "getting in JuJo's head". <<< That's one of my favorites.

lol, I can't believe some people on here are actually using Tnew not running that potential INT he dropped, back for a TD, as a reason why we lost *shakes head*

oh, and while we're at it, I'm calling out Dan Campbell for not using his 45 inch vert to jump up and snag the Bledsoe duck that went Champ Bailey's way

I'm calling out T. New for hiding Henry's Preparation H which made it impossible for him to suit up for the game.

Huh?

Are you saying AH didn't play due to hemmorhoids? (sic)

Or does that medication double for groin pulls? :laugh2:

TNew dropping that ball was a big reason we lost that game.

You have to catch those balls. One on Williams too. Turnovers are huge game winners. So yeah a put a big one on TNew for dropping an interception which IMO would have won the game.

But it's not just his fault. Dallas lost not TNew.

it may be a reason, a stretch at that, but certainly not a big reason, a big reason would be Cuntiff leaving 3 points on the field

and think, if TNew made the INT, is there any guarantee that he runs it back? what if he holds the ball too low and it bounces off his knee into the hands of a Denver player? what if he's tackled, and our offense can't convert a 3rd and 1? or we give the ball up? penning him dropping the INt as a reason we lost the game is a huge stretch IMO

I'm more miffed when the receivers drop them.

And while we're in bash mode here, the way Terry walks back to the huddle is starting to annoy me. Zero hustle.

That and the fact he always sits on the bench on the sidelines.

I think he's running out of gas, like Bill teases, in this unusual year his season did not end by game 7.

I know you said "just kidding," but you wouldn't even say that if you knew me well. For one, I'd never sabotage any Cowboys player for any reason -- as I'm sure none of us would. And secondly, I've never taken sides against any of our players and never will. Just because I think Newman has had a better season than Henry doesn't mean I'm rooting against Henry or don't like Henry. He gives up some catches and yards, but not a huge amount, and he makes plays often enough to make up for most of that.

Likewise, unlike some fans (apparently), I don't root against Romo or Henson, I don't root against Al Johnson or Gurode, I don't root against Nguyen or Shanle, etc. I don't base anything on favoritism, I go by performance. If Henry plays better than Newman over the next eight or nine games, I'll be the first to say so, and I'll have the evidence to prove it.

If Plummer had made a good throw, he almost certainly would have. Newman broke on the route and was expecting the pass to go to the receiver. But since it was wide, it ended up being behind Newman, and he didn't have enough time to react to it by the time he saw where the ball was going. It's not like he knew where the pass was going and just dropped it, and it wasn't like Roy's pick last week, when he was watching McNabb the whole time and saw the ball coming right to him.

It was a JOKE. I don't have anything against you. In fact, your one of my favorite posters. You put a lot of time into your thoughts and posts and can back up anything you post. No harm meant. Like I said, just kidding. Sorry.

No problem. I just don't want you to think I'm against Henry in any way, shape or form, just because I've stated that Newman is playing better. Henry is playing very well -- and probably better than expected.

That was a catchable ball and with the game on the line you cannot drop those balls. Esp if you are TNew. Even he said he should have caught it.

I said he didn't lose the game. Dallas did. But you cannot leave those turnovers on the field. Not if you want to win close games and go to SBs.

I understand your defense of TNew but I expect more of him esp at that moment of the game.

Yep... about 4 inches on the ground here. Up a little north of here close to a foot.
