Calm down and prepare for some big time tier 3 and 4 level free agents. The more that things change the more they stay the same.

Chubby is done
bahahahahhhahhahha..... yea, EVERY TEAM, literally EVERY TEAM in the NFL has free agent signings. Drue Tranquill is your arguing point? bahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahaEvery team that has made the Super Bowl in the past 10 years has supplemented its roster with quality free agent signings. That doesn't mean that they've gone out and signed all of the top free agents available, but it does mean that they have spent money in free agency.
In 2023, the Chiefs signed former Jacksonville second-round pick Jawaan Taylor to a four-year, $80 million deal to anchor their offensive line. They had a hole and they filled it with a costly piece. They added starting linebacker Drue Tranquill for relatively cheap, but $3 million is more than we have been willing to pay in free agency. (This year, we might go up to $3 million since the cap has increased.) S Justin Reid signed a three-year, $31 million deal in 2022 to leave Houston.
A few moves like those erase weak links and put you in position to contend while you are building through the draft. Again, you won't find a Super Bowl team in the past 10 years (and probably throughout the cap era) that has not done that.
Same approach...same results! We don't need to get into a bidding war with these other teams, this is exactly what's happening right now. Teams are spending stupid amounts of money on players JUST because it's free agency, it happens every year! We knew we weren't going to be active in the first wave, why get mad and lose ourselves in something we know was going to happen! When whatever wave hits us and hopefully there's still some decent players around, we will hopefully pounce down!!! Please give your thoughts
My thoughts are that you are about to post a thread asking, WHY THE HELL ARE WE BEING SO CALM AND PARIENT!!! and then, Mr. Hyde will yell, shut the hell up!We don't need to get into a bidding war with these other teams, this is exactly what's happening right now. I thought Cougars were old?Coog is young. He has not endured the 30 years of suffering like many of us. So he is still doe-eyed and hopeful. He is not mindful enough yet to stop falling for the annual okie doke from Jerry.
Smart teams already know who they want and get them quickly. I get we aren’t gonna go after any elite type players. But if you have a guy you want you get him quick BEFORE you have to worry about a bidding war. The real problem is we only want guys who will play below market value and goid players don’t take those dealsWe don't need to get into a bidding war with these other teams, this is exactly what's happening right now. You are right. For this team not to even look outside the team for help as much help as his team needs, it's a real slap in the face might as well give us the finger.Because when the FO sits there and does nothing, after the year they just had, it is a slap in the face to this fan base.
Not only did they not even look outside the building for a coaching staff, they dont look outside the building for new players.
Then again, they dont think there is a problem with how the team is run so, there is that.
If that's what you want to take from it, I can't help you. You ignored the two higher-priced free agents they signed who contributed to their success.bahahahahhhahhahha..... yea, EVERY TEAM, literally EVERY TEAM in the NFL has free agent signings. The cap money is probably going to Bland, Smith, Aubrey, Turpin, and Furgerson.

bidding war? when there are top notch FA available, then you go get them. you over pay for FA...that's known, but fill a couple of key gaps like DT, LB or Saftey with top notch players. those type of players lift everybody else around them....then fill other gaps with mid level players and get to draft. We don't need to get into a bidding war with these other teams, this is exactly what's happening right now. People don’t get it. It’s all about sales. The cowboys make money on merchandise sales. They make more by over paying parsons and selling his jerseys.Parsons cap hold is already set with the 5th year option.
No.. you will get the full 3 decades and like it !!!!Is 29 years long enough to be patient and calm down?
