When does Garrett or Jerry tell our loud mouthed defensive coach to shut up?

Apparently he has over estimated our talent as well. It's hard enough winning in the NFL without ticking the professionals on the other side of the field off.

Never been a fan of the Ryan clan, That has not changed. :star:

BTW, wades "D" is looking pretty good.

I'd rather hear that then the company bullcrap line of "we're gonna get better everyday" "It's a process" "take it 1 day at a time"

Its a very big problem when you open your mouth and then precede to get lit up

If what Ryan Says takes a opposing team to get fired up, then they shouldn't be playing in the NFL..the whole bulletin board material is over rated!:bang2:

ryan's words had nothing to do with what happened yesterday.

i mean really? we're blaming that pathetic performance on words? :laugh2:

So maybe he should "mouth off" to our players some to tick them off. I wouldn't mind seeing our team play with some passion and anger.

His mouth is not the problem.

No, that is not my point. Yesterday was about being outcoached and outmatched talent wise. Ryan running his mouth just makes us look stupid too.

an assistant coach should not create headlines for the team. Period.

I was thinking the same thing. When was the last time Dom Capers, Dick LeBeau, Dick Jauron, or even the late Jim Johnson was seen giving an interview let alone trash talking about "Kicking someone's ***"? Buddy never won anything, and I don't think his sons will either. Ryan hasn't accomplished so much that he has earned the right to run his mouth. The aforementioned guys let their coaching and game planning do their talking something Rob Ryan should learn to do, if he can...

Just shut up and play football... I'm tired of this team always putting their collective foot in their mouth.

I have no issue with Ryan running off at the mouth. That's who he is and he owns it. He owned it last night that he did a piss poor job and took responsibility for it.

I like that.

I will never have an issue with Ryan running his mouth as long as he's willing to do his job and do his best to back it up and doesn't run from it when he doesn't.

Just look back a day or two... Most people seem to love that kind of talk.

Funny thing was the people saying we loved Jimmy for talking smack. Speaking for myself, I never loved Jimmy for talking. I loved him because he won.

I always LOVED how cocky Jimmy was. I loved that he put it out there like that.

One of my favorite moments in my entire life was him telling the media to put it in 3" bold letters that we'd win the game.

I love confidence.
