Just wondering what y'alls thoughts are on potentially trading up for Ridley vs moving the pick for Thomas, everything else being equal – meaning, let's not argue semantics.

Just want to know which you guys would prefer the team do and why.

Assuming I believe Ridley is a #1 WR...which I’m not sure yet..I will agree that Ridley suddenly becomes a real need. We have a group of #2 and #3’s.

We can get by with our safeties or pick up Reid in FA.

WR is much harder at this point.

Calvin Ridley.
and we might not have to trade up to get him.
possible Baltimore likes DJ Moore better.
also...would it really surprise anyone if they took a LB or OL instead....Daniels,Wynn,McGlinchey seem like fits for ravens....Evans and LVE do also.
Sure Im biased cause I want Ridley but it isnt a slam dunk he goes before us.

I don't see much gap between Ridley and about six other guys that can be had at 50 or later so I see us taking LVE or Hernandez at 19. I see a much bigger drop off in talent at the G position and LB plus I see those as bigger needs.

I would trade a 5th for Thomas at best but never ever trade a first! To me even if Dallas didnt have a safety on the roster I wouldnt concede to Seattles wishes. Not a fan of taking a WR in the first either! This team needs a stud LB!

I read a study done on the monetary value of draft pick and it put the average 1st round pick at 32m in 2010. So conservatively speaking pick 19 probably has a monetary value of about 40m dollars. Let's assume you sign Earl Thomas for 4 years on 12m a season.

If you give up pick 19 for Thomas the real cost is closer to 22m a season.......he's not worth that, nobody but a QB or rookie on a massively underpriced contract is worth giving up a 1st round pick.

Lol I would trade Taco for Earl Thomas and not even think twice about it.

Thomas 10/10, grab a Wr in rounds 3-4 hidden talent is there, you just need to find it.
