It is a bit much to criticize him due to Ryan's pitiful performance against an elite defense.

Yep. We played it smart by waiting until the 3rd round in a draft loaded with WRs. Each draft usually has a surplus position where you can get a 1st round talent in the 3rd or 4th. We took advantage of it this year, unlike previous years that were loaded in other positions.

Atlanta is having the same issue with Julio Jones that Dak had with Dez. Julio is making so much money that there is an enormous amount of pressure on Ryan to get him the ball. Atlanta targeted julio something like 19 times. He's basically the only guy Ryan is looking for and the result is that he often holds the ball too long. Guys like Ridley and Muhamed Sanu need to be a lot more involved for that team to have any success.
