Cam another 400+ yards

I know he threw a few INTs which is what really matters. Just commenting on his ability to sling the ball. No way I would have thought he would have back to back 400 yards games. Just did not think he was a good passer but he is changing my mind.

If you asked me what is more likely:
Cam Newton throws for 400 yards+ in each of his first two starts
Cam Newton throws for under 800 yards in his entire first season.

I would've picked the second option.

This. The panthers seem content to let Newton go out there and throw it 40+ times per game. They aren't going to win many games doing that, though, it'll at least allow him to pile up yards.

Those 3 nasty INT's kind of overshadow the yardage, IMO.

I thought he'd be benched by week 4 if he started, guy didn't look like an NFL QB to me. Time will tell but it looks like I was wrong.

He is probably the first rookie QB of all time in his first 2 starts to go over 400 yards, so that is not a radical mental opinion.

The man has a whopping 10.3 yards per attempt!

His yardage isn't simply due to throwing a lot.

I don't think there's a "probably" about it lol...I think I read somewhere that only 6 QBs in NFL history have ever had back-to-back 400 yard games...and that Newton is the only one to do so in the first two games of his career.
