Cam Cameron

I know we don't have an opening at head coach. Not yet at least. But what do you guys think about SD OC Cam Cameron? He runs the timing based offense a la Norv Turner and Ernie Zampese. I've heard very good things about this guy and obviously SD is doing well offensively with LT, Gates etc. Perhaps he could take an assistant from SD's defensive staff to come over a become the DC to run our 3-4. Just an idea in case a change is made.

If we were to get a coach off of SD, I'd rather it be Wade Phillips

This defense needs help... I can't watch anymore jof BP's created, Zimmer coached defense... It pains me to watch... even when it's marginally working, it's giving up gashes of field. Plus they don't make any adjustments.

I think Phillips is a retread. Cameron is fresh and his timing based scheme has maximized the talents of LT, Gates, etc. And he's an outstanding QB coach. I think our defense needs fresh ideas and I'm sure Cameron can bring in an assistant from SD with him that can provide the blitz disguising and stunting on defense that we need. Talent is here, but new and fresh ideas on both sides of the ball are needed.

That is what I was thinking. And Wade Phillips? A big NO on that one. If Dallas makes a change at any coaching positions, they need to do better than that.
