It looks like they don't need a veteran receiver at this point. It looks like in week 1 they will go with Lamb, Tolbert, Brown, Houston, Turpin, and Semi. They also have Pollard that can give them some snaps at receiver.

They will need to add a swing tackle. They don't seem to have enough depth at this point.

The defense is scary good right now. They have built them an exciting defense to watch. I'm thinking that Brady will have his hands full in week 1.

At kicker either Lirim will make it or they will bring somebody else in. I don't know what happened to Garibay, but whatever it was he has totally lost it.

Greer looks like he has a shot at being the 2nd qb.

The bottom line is that it has been mostly good. They just need to stay healthy to start the season.

1. This could back fire and put us in an early hole to start the season when it wasn't going to be easy anyway.

2. Yeah. I agree.

3. Is the defense "scary good" or are we just seeing them against our depleted offense that a lot believe (including myself) was going to take a huge step back even if healthy. We'll see how "scary good" they are real quick this season.

4. The kicker, regardless of who they chose, will costs us games at some point.

5. Grier is my dude, but I believe Rush will get it.

6. 8-9 or 9-8

If a former high pick OL or DL hits the streets. McClay and SJ will explore. I think they maybe kicker shopping. Other than that I think they are sticking.

I think this is probably about right. They’re going with what they have except maybe for kicker, as you said.

Of course, if somebody comes available that McClay and company really likes, they’ll probably consider it at that point.

That WR rotation is a massive risk. Beyond Lamb it’s nothing but question marks.

I guess Ball isn’t setting in as the swing tackle?

How’s the offense line doing overall? Each starter? Heard Tyron looking rusty

I just don't see there being a beginning of season option available out there at WR that is going to be better than what we have. Maybe Beasley would be since he played with Dak but I think that Beasley blew it on his way out of town, burned every bridge possible. People talk about OBJ but he is in the same boat as Gallup at best.

I do think we will sign an OT for swing.

Offensive line and kicker are my main concerns. I think the WR group may surprise some.

Rambo for you to say we need a swing tackle scares me silly!
You are usually very positive, so we must have a BIG problem at the position.

I wrote a similar post yesterday, didn't see this one. We pretty much agree with the same roster areas of need. Let's see how this plays out for the rest of camp.

This defense isn’t scary good. They’re playing an offense that won’t be nearly as good as we are used to. These upcoming practices vs Denver will be very telling. That’s a scary good defense and they will take our offenses lunch.

Saints went years with Michael Thomas and a bunch of CFL wrs along with Ingram and Kamara. If we can't make it work with Ceedee, zeke and Pollard why is Kellen here? Brees was throwing 10 yards or below damn near entire games
It helps to have Drew Brees.

People obviously dont watch much football. Hahomes had Kelsy and HIll and a most scrubs. Rogers had Adams and mostly no one. He has even less now.

These are just camp practices. The preseason games may tell a different story, much less the regular season.

Exactly. RB's & TE's plus & "#1" receiver should be more than enough to carry the load.
