Haven’t read this name a lot but camp reports have been super positive on IM’s progress. Not just a guy either. Of all the potential breakout players he may be the top. Quinn had another lanky S in Seattle. The guy that ended the SB in the first minute.

Thoughts?

We are deep at the safety position. They should just move him back to Corner where he belongs. That way we can get rid of Nashon Wright. I think Nashon is a bust.

1 - Bell
2 - Kearse
3 - Hooker
4 - Wilson
5 - Mukuamu

How does Bell get the no.1 billing? or is this random order? I'd have it:
1. Kearse
2. Hooker
3. Wilson
4. Mukuamu
5. Bell

And I'm more inclined to keep Mukuamu as a hybrid CB/Safety going short at CB (cutting Joseph or Wright).

Id say Wilson is our best S if he can stay healthy

Really. Better than Kearse? Not for me. He might be better than Hooker but not as a single high IMO, he’s more a hybrid FS/SS but he’s definitely a playmaker.
Yes I think he bas more upside and versatility. In 2020 he looked he could be a Pro Bowl caliber S. 2021 just raises some red flags about injuries. Kearse is good at his role, but he is limited to it as a box S/roving LB. I think a healthy Wilson is a much better S than Kearse

He may be playing more than we think; Kearse may very well start the year on PUP. This injury of his is starting to look sketchy

I was just pulling @stilltheguru chain. He’s been saying that Bell hasn’t done enough to be already handed a roster spot…

I’d go 5 at safety and 5 at db. I can’t justify PS’ing Izzy he will get picked up the second he’s put on a PS

I don’t know if Wright is a bust but he hasn’t shown to be what he was drafted to be for sure

I'm not sure if Mukuamu is a better safety than he is a CB. He played corner throughout college.

I think they had him at safety because we lacked depth at that position.

I think this year were deep in the safety position and can move Mukuamu back to where he was before.

The can cut Nashon or Joseph or both. I don't care for either of them.

He had a very nice game . An INT some break ups if Hooker has issues this is nice young depth . On one deep sideline route he was deep coverage over the top and the receiver was about to haul it in huge gain Israel M knocked it out with a hard hit . Nice solid safety help .

Israel Mukuamu won't ever be as sheer physical as ex-Seattle safety Cam Chancelor, but for a guy that whose physicality was questioned when he
entered the NFL, he was noticeably physical this preseason. i liked the range and ball skills he's shown.

His play strengthen his chances for the 53 roster. i initially thought we'd only be carry four safeties.
But Izzy may have changed the dynamics of that.

We may have to make a hard decision at the CB unit just to keep five safeties:
1 Hooker
2 Kearse
3 Wilson
4 Izzy
5 Bell

I was joking a bit. Still reports are good and he played well last night.

Most draft profiles said he was too slow and not twitchy enough to play CB
But at safety he’s fast enough
He fell to the 6th round because he wasn’t projected to be much of a CB option
