Camping

Was just browsing the exhausting and tedious Global Warming thread in the Political Zone and in the midst of the 'how many children should a family have' debate, someone (ethiostar I believe) mentioned camping as a great way for a family to spend time together. I love camping! And as a Canadian, am lucky to live in a country with some prime camping spots: Algonquin, Bon Echo, Presquile, etc.

So my question is, can you guys recommend any good camping sites? I'd be particularly interested to hear about good camping spots in the States (preferably on the East Coast, as the West is probably too far for us to drive to.)

West Virginia...I say the State and not any specific site as there are so many areas you could camp at in the mountains. If you love camping it is a beautiful state for that.

I agree WV is a beautiful state. Some call it the outdoors man's paradise. If you like white water rafting, i highly recommend New River Gorge. You can also camp there.
