I'm having an arguement, one which I know 100% I am correct and one where another poster thinks he's right, even thought I know I'm 100% right, we'll need some 3rd party experts!

I follow the draft and know the players and where they're projected and when and why they have moved up or down the draft so far!
I know for a fact that Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was ranked by just about everyone in the country as a 3rd round prospect prior to the seniro bowl week!
AFTER The senior bowl week where he had great practices all week and had a great game and showed he could hang with the big boys coming from a smaller school and all, his draft status the week after the senior bowl shot up to a 1st round prospect after being a 3rd round prospect prior to that week.

So I was wondering if anyone who is knowledgeable on this subject to chime in since I am arguing he was a 3rd rounder prior to senrior bowl week and by the time the senior bowl was over, he solidified himself as a 1st round prospect.
Can anyone confirm he was roughly projected as a 3rd rounder by just about everyone on planet earth prior to senior bowl week?
And that only AFTER the senior bowl week did he shoot up draft boards to becoming a 1st round projection?
I'm sick of arguing back and forth, so I figured I'd leave it up to you guys and let you guys who are in the know respond and see who's right on this one!

Can not confirm that he was a third round projected player prior to the Senior bowl, however he was NOT a 1st round projected player prior to the Senior bowl.

Not sure if that helps, but I just do not know what he was rated as prior, just that it was not a first rounder.

I think he was barely in the top 15 as regards CBs prior to Senior Bowl.
So I would guess end of second rd beginning of 3rd depending on how many went how fast.

On plenty of boards he was listed anywhere from 2nd to 4th round. He was a "sleeper" on a couple of boards, but reality is that his performance at the Senior Bowl improved his draft stock drmatically. Keep in mind that there have been plenty of varying opinions on the CB's in this year's draft. Mike Mayock elevated Brandon Flowers from somewhere in round 2 to his #1 CB overall. Getting a consensus has been quite a struggle for draft prognosticators.

Thanks all, I think I proved my point since the guy I was arguing said NO ONE had him as a 3rd round prospect prior to senior bowl week, when I told him basically everyone had him roughyl as a 3rd rounder and he moved up only after the senior bwol, which as we can see with these repsonses he was wrong, which leads me to not believe anything he ever says about future draft picks if he didn't even know this one.

DRC plays with the type of confidence you can't teach and he's got all the physical tools to be a special player, IF I'm Dallas sitting at 22 I definitely draft him.

Been very busy of late, but still post.

Just have not gotten into as much concerning the draft, mostly political talks.

not to toot my own horn but. When i first put him in my mock i had him in the 3rd or 4th round because when i found him he was a hidden gem almost, no one was talking about him. after that people noticed his size and than senior bowl he flew up
