Can anyone make any sense of this?

Writer just trying to be cute pretending to be back from the future with spoilers. I must admit I think our real future is much brighter than this clown pretends to tell. I'm not normally a "cup half full" kind of guy these days but compared to this drivel... can't help myself. Long live Han Solo!

The article was inspired by the Dr. Who sci-fi series. It could have been written better. Probably Sessler rarely watches Dr. Who, doesn't understand the who or doesn't comprehend the finer concepts of fictional time travel. The redacted email address was kinda cute though.

I think it was sent in by a fan who signed it as sessler. Unless I missed something. I read it yesterday and there was a link on the front page of NFL .com that said it was from a fan.

Hmmm. Now I'm not so sure. Maybe I'm just stupid.

just something else to tear down the cowboys from some east coast reporter. I don't watch nfl network or espn unless they have a game on. They never have anything productive to say about cowboys unless they are building them up to get other teams to play harder against them.

I hear you on ESPN. I don't watch one second of anything on that network that isn't a live, televised game.

NFL.com though has some pretty good stuff on it, although some of the people on there can say some crazy stuff about Dallas. This week they have 30 min specials on each team's 2014 season. They'll be doing the NFC East teams in like, 3,4 5 days. I can't remember exactly.

They have some pretty decent stuff.

Shame on you for making me open that link...I stopped reading when I got to the part about being 8-7 and needing to beat the Washington football team to get into the playoffs.. :)

Really
If we are 8-7 I don't think we are going to be playing for a playoff spot
I don't know if we match last years wins but I don't expect an 8-8 season unless we lose romo for an extended period

Maybe I didn't write that very clearly, but I was attempting to say what you just said. I don't see us being 8-7 at season's end. Like you, I think we'll be at the 10 or 11 win mark at that point.

I tried to listen to them right after the La'El Collins signing to gauge reaction around the league. After listening to them try to minimize the signing and by extension the Cowboys' chances in 2015, it was the first and last listen I gave them.

I hear you, and I don't blame anyone for not watching it. But football 24/7 in March/April/May/June is just too much of a pull for me in the off season.

Oh, sorry, I should have been more specific, this was an NFL.com podcast, and not anything from NFL Network.

I saw this on there site, and I dont understand what the writer is trying to accomplish here. Anyone have any ideas? Sounds like satire but he keeps saying playoffs for the boys.

He not only got you to click on his garbage, but he got you to post it here and now several of us have clicked on it.

Summary: Writer posts garbage with references to Cowboys and he get clicks. He wins.

Yeah, actually that's my bad. Initially I wrote NFL.com when I meant NFL Network.

No wonder you were talking about NFL.com, lol.

it's really dumb.

but, you're right: they post "cowboys" and "playoffs" and a pic of romo, and we all click the link. it's our fault.
