Can Carpenter participate in mini-camps?

I would think so. I know some will not like that but I think it is a good thing not making kids have to choose between something as important as their education and a career in the NFL which is why the NFL and NCAA put this rule in.

Here in Pittsburgh, they are saying Santonio Holmes will participate in the Steelers 3 day mini-camp but will not participate in coaching sessions or anything else until his class graduates in mid-June.
Going off that, I would say Carpenter will be there this weekend and that's it.

I think this has always been the case with Ohio State guys.

OSU is still on the quarter system. Most schools are on a semester system.
