Just a little love for now. We need him to make some pressure kicks. He has done well on ST though.

Plus the 'ex-roofer' is a likable character, for sure.

This cracks me up. In my mind, I see a bunch of my uncles, leaning on tar brooms, from the sidelines.

It's the of apitamy of Joe "Sixpack" gone wild.

Kudos to Cortez for Sunday. I admit I was hard on him and wanted him out. It appears to have been corrected with a new snapper. If he keeps it up, I will be the first to apologize!! I need 5-6 games without misses to be convinced though.

When I read LA owned a home in California (don't know if it is in the Bay area) I began to suspect that Cortez had been his roofer and let some rain soak his bed.

That would explain LA's reaction to the bad snap fiasco at least. :)

I'm glad he got some love, because I can't offer any. He's a kicker. Yuck.

He's doing well, but I echo the cringing feeling when he steps on the field. I'd like to have some stability at kicker for once instead of bringing in a new Joe Schmo off the street every year.

Everybody's entitled to a fresh start so I will judge him only by what he does here. I'm sure that will matter a lot to the decision makers.
