I think Herbert and Kyler are more likely to win right now. Herbert deserves it over Dak - I think that Herbert is more valuable to the Chargers than Dak is to the Cowboys (crazy i know, but Herbert goes down and I really don't know if they win games without him - I think the Cowboys could squeeze a win out of Rush).

Herbert, Kyler, Brady, Allen, Rodgers and Dak. That's a lot of competition for the award right there.

The kid who can't throw is now the second highest rated passer in the NFL and is completing 74% of his passes despite his glaring accuracy issues.. What a lucky duck he must be.. Right now he sits behind Russell Wilson who obviously is gone for 6-8 weeks maybe more.. If Wilson doesn't come back he will fall off the qualifier list which means Dak has a realistic shot at the "passing title" this season. If the Cowboys finished with 13-14 wins he's definitely going to be in the MVP conversation and the Comeback player award is almost a given at this point..

Dak put up great numbers last year and the team lost and was horrible. The same goes for 2019.

They're not missing the goal. Because the goal is not Super Bowl for them. The goal for them is being able to brag about their favorite player. As long as they can do that they are happy.

Your white knight act is unnecessary. Who claims Dak can't throw or isn't accurate?

I haven't seen posts like that since about 2019.

Dak DID have accuracy issues and his passing WAS a liability for a few years. That's obviously not the case anymore.

Fans are entitled to change their opinions if a player's skills improve.

If the Cowboys end up with the best record in the league and Dak's stats continue on the path they are going...I see no reason to believe that Dak isn't a legit contender. As of right now there's no one with stats much better than his.....He's 3rd in Touchdowns....2nd in QBrating, 2nd in completion.....

Hypothetically let's say the Cowboys end up 15-2 and its the best record in the NFL......he will have a shot.

Dak probably wont win the passing title as we are running the ball alot (thats a good thing) and he is deadly with the passes he is throwing off the balanced attack. Kyler is probably the front runner with Brady right behind as those are the 2 most pass happy O's (PMahomes could come back on line and change this). Allen could slow a bit as the Bills will try and find a rush balance to equal out that defense as the season goes.
