Brady is known for not needing "all day" to pick apart a defense. So your point is irrelevant. But you're right about the GOAT.Dallas has no pass rush. With no pass rush that means Brady will have all day to tear the secondary apart. Minshew had a career day against this trash defense and there is no reason to believe the GOAT won't do the same. They also just got their butts handed to them by a rookie playing in his first game. When you suck, you suck.......
The thing you have to do with Brady is get in his face. We simply HAVE to figure out how to get push up the middle. Osa and Gallimore are really the only ones of our remaining DTs who can do that. Hankins is a great run stuffer but he aint pushin the pocket. I think it's imperative that Quinn not allow Brady to draw a bead on what the defense is doing. Coverage looks need to move around, fronts need to move around and backers need to move around. Never let Brady see what you're doing until it's too late.Unfortunately no they can’t just “take away” a weapon like Evans. The good news is the bucs have a below average OL and if our run D is just better than usual, we should be able to get some pressure.
If I were Dan Quinn, I would be designing some different looks for this defense. I would consider putting Diggs on Evans the entire game. With LVE and Hankins back we have to hope our run defense is a little better.
They do have a WR about as good as Evens, you know in Chris GodwinThier run game is weak. They have one threat. stop it.
what say you?
Agreed. I think the Bucs will attempt to do two main attacks in their game plan- 1. Run the ball off tackle just as they did last Sept. 2. If they can establish their running game and get lots of short 2nd and 3rd downs, use play action to throw some deep balls. The Cowboys look extremely vulnerable at the corner opposite Diggs. I fully expect the Bucs to throw lots of deep passes. The thing you have to do with Brady is get in his face. We simply HAVE to figure out how to get push up the middle. Lol ain't no way in hell Bland can handle Godwin by himself, our coaches would be crazy to do that. Godwin is a vet that has posted multiple 1000 yard seasons in his career, he has 104 catches this season and went up against better corners, he'll take Bland to school if they go one on oneI think Bland can handle Godwin.. The matchup to worry about is Julio Jones against whoever we trot out there at CB3.
