Only thing I could see is money. It must be a real divide for Thomas to run up to Garrett and say come get me after the game

You would think Moncrief would not be a hard sell for McClay. He's 6'2" and 215 pounds (almost the exact same size as Dez), ran a 4.4 40, and will have just turned 25 when next season starts.

Thomas is literally a no-brainer if he becomes available. He's from Texas, his interest in the Cowboys is publicly known, and he'll sell jerseys. Oh by the way, he'll make us better.

I think that is some severe wishful thinking on the Eart Thomas part, unless you’d be willing to part with Zach Martin plus a draft pick. Quality for quality.

Seattle can franchise him after this season.
