Can Marty B. split out wide or not?

One thing Roy being "dinged' does is allow Red more time to tinker with Marty and others in different formations. Myself and many others have said Marty is athletic enough: and darn well strong enough to split out wide and beat a CB....what say you?

I dont think we're going to be seeing too much of what Garrett and Co. are going to do with either MartyB or Felix.

Keep it vanilla.

But to answer the question, yes he can be split out wide, and we will see it numerous times in the upcoming season.

And you prob wont during the pre-season cause you dont wanna show your cards too early with some of your offense formations. Teams more than usually keep it to base formations until the season starts. It was reported during practices though that they were tinkering with it so it'll happen during the season.

When I was at training camp, they ran a lot of plays with him lined up out wide. I don't think we'll see any of that in preseason due to not wanting teams to have a view of it.

Yeah, me too. He looks like a huge WR and he moves like one too. I remember last season when he caught a screen pass and lumbered about 30 yards before anyone even got to him.

He's going to be a real weapon for us this season.

Except Carmichael was a stick figure compared to Bennett.

He was in Dallas' camp near the end of his career. I remember seeing him on the sideline in a preseason game and thinking that Harold Carmichael in a Cowboys uniform was one of the oddest football sights I had ever seen.
