Can someone explain how the Giants DON'T

If they beat skins, they are in.

heck, even if they lose, they can still get in with a 7-9 if 49ers/vikes/falcon lose as well in final week.

it sucks because we could not have made into playoff last year even with a 10-6 record.

Yeah, the Falcons aren't doing us any favors either. They just keep losing. AND, they could've had alot to do with making Eagle/Giant fans miserable. I believe they still can by beating Philly but I don't have the two hours it'll take to reasearch HOW.
All I know is that it would be a friggin shame if Philly or NY gets in and comes alive and makes some noise.

Yeah, watching that SD/Seattle game today, I was thinking that maybe the AFC isn't THAT superior to the NFC... At least in a Super Bowl situation.

Yeah, I'm a little sick and tired of all the NFC bashing and AFC anointing. The AFC has their share of so-so teams looking good for a playoff spot. Denver? Cincy? The Jets? Now the Colts look like they're seams are busting. These four teams all have major cracks and pimples. San Diego does look good as does Baltimore. New England can be beat on any day after getting shut out by Miami. Their past more than this present team is what people still consider when talking about them. But this team is a shell of what it was.
But week after week, the talking heads all but have the Lombardi trophy in the AFC. We'll see........................
