i asked for tapatalk awhile back and got told the responsive theme was good enough...needless to say, i dont browse CZ on mobile because its terrible.

I have no troubles with Chrome on my tablet or phone.

Really? The Responsive theme works great for me. There is a trick to making it work properly, but it works.

The responsive theme converts the regular site to a mobile viewing site when you login from your phone or mobile device.

I turn off signatures, but the site works pretty well on my phone. Agreed with WG, the responsive design of this site is just fine.

The XenForo forum software is responsive. Mine is great on Android Chrome.

The responsive theme its that responsive. The paging, menus and width of the site are all a bit off making it rough on mobile.

Just to add, here's what you have to do..

When accessing the site from a mobile device, scroll to the bottom left and you should see an option for using Responsive style. Click that option when viewing from your mobile device and the layout should adjust accordingly.

Most phones allow you to create a shortcut which can point to any website. I made one for cowboyszone and pinned it to my home screen.

In chrome, simply go to cowboyszone.com, go to your options, and select "add to homescreen."

same for me......I use XenForo as well with no complaints what's so ever

 

[Reality]

There's no way I would ever use Tapatalk on the server. I looked into it a couple of years ago, but between the exploits and questionable practices by tapatalk, I don't trust it on the server at all.

As for CZ, the responsive theme works great for me. Besides, the theme of a site (at least in my opinion) helps a site feel more like a community, not just data or content. The reason I love forum sites (as a user) is because it feels like I belong to something, rather than just harvesting information from yet another source of data/content.
