Though it was unlikely that T.Williams could develope this quickly after being out of football for a long period of time, he is still only 22 years old apparently a very fast learner and fits the CB position.

Standing in at Six ft 3 inches, wieghing 198lbs and running a blazing 4.27 Teddy would likely be snatched up quickly, ie. the next Matt Moore.

i think no, he cant, he may come along quickly but you need to be able to call on him in a game if need be, and i doubt he can be ready that quick. PS guy for a year or two and then hopefully he amounts to something

no, he's not making this roster and nobody is going to pick him up, he might get on the practice squad, but no team is going to carry a guy on their 53 man roster who hasn't played football in a couple of years and is RAW.

no comparison to Matt Moore in any way

I just hope Teddy doesnt decide to go back to track because its really unbelievable that a guy can practice for week or two and get 30 plays in NFL preseason game after being out of football for several years and never playing the position. Either Campo and Newmann are heck of teachers or Teddy has football insticts like very few have.

In training camp, I was told by a pretty good source (coach) that they would put him on the practice squad and develope him. The team likes him alot.

Williams is probably going to the practice squad, but if he is turning that many heads, the Cowboys will wait till the last minute to cut him, after most teams have already determined their teams. The Cowboys should probably quit showcasing him also, so that other teams don't notice him.

He can make a push for the 53.

Teddy has 4 more games to latch on. After playing 30 snaps and showing the team that the game is not too big for him. Williams will likely get a better opportunity to showcase himself then the team had originally planed.

Newman, Jenkins, Scandrick, Gordon, Williams! Why not?

What are the chances the team will be able to get Wall or McCann on the PS if they kept Williams?

I dont think we have to really worry about anybody picking him up and adding him to their active roster this year. He looks like a PS guy to me.

A extreme outside chance if he could return punts or be a extremely strong contributor to STs.

Unless he suddenly gets a knack for returning kickoffs and punts very well, he has no shot at making the 53. However, you have to remember that if a team wants to snatch him when we try to put him on our PS, they have to sign him to their active 53 man roster. Nobody is going to do that, just based on the fact that he is fast. Now if he wanted to, he could choose to sign with another team's practice squad instead of ours, but let's be real, who's going to do that when you have a chance to be a Cowboy?

Good point.

Ever heard the name Al Davis?

But with Titus Ryan going down that opens up a chance for him at KR and if he can prove some worth on ST he may have a shot. I doubt it but ....

He has a very small chance if any to make the 53 man roster. It would be more likely that he would go to the PS. I know it is hard for some to understand but this team does have a lot of talent on it and for a kid who has not played football in years he is no more than a long shot to have any type of career in the NFL. I do wish him the best

Well, since Wall looked terrible, he can stay on the practice squad. McCann might get snapped up.

But I was highly impressed with Williams on Sunday. He's raw, but he's less raw than guys that played football for four years in college. I think part of the reason is that he's got a clean slate - no bad habits based on his athleticism from his college days.

Baltimore's secondary is depleted. They got hit with the injury bug bad. They might take him off the practice squad.

I don't think the Cowboys can hide him on the practice squad for the whole year.

I say start him with the 1st team tomorrow to see what we got. Need lots of data right now. There is nothing to be gained by playing Jenkins and Newman tomorrow. If Williams performs really bad, then we might be able to stash him on the practice squad.

Lot of upside there. Could you imagine if the Cowboys hit on a star QB (Romo), star WR (Miles), and star CB (Williams) via undrafted FAs? That would be unbelievable.
