No rookie quarterback led team has appeared in or won a Super Bowl. In foresight (for a few observers), that particular number one seed was simply a number one seed.

We did see Eli take the 9-7(?) Giants to the Super Bowl. Dak isn't Eli, our defense needs a bunch of work, and there's no way we replicate that running game as is....but the NFL is unpredictable. I'm not going to sit here and say I think there's any chance in hell, but I can't logically rule it out knowing what I know about the NFL, and how momentum is everything. Micah and DLaw are coming back soon, and the defense has made strides without them. Ya never know.

Mathematically they're still in the hunt. I'm not happy with how this team is constructed either, but I can't say 100% that they won't find some momentum and ride the wave.

We are not going to the playoffs, I'm already resigned to that happening. A poor running attack, an overpaid QB that is in decline, a defense that a toddler could run over and an owner who is totally deluded. We will be in salary cap hell (as always) for the next few years because business man Jerry just can't help paying out big bucks, it's in his DNA.
