Can this be a good lesson learned?

It was nice to come out with the win. But can this be a good lesson for the coaches and players, knowing that you can't let up no matter what the score.

Your thoughts?

(BTW- The game threads are hiliarious, some people just must be fun to live with.)

If by "let up" you mean go conservative on offense, run the ball, and run the clock... would you rather throw it, risk an INT or INC that stops the clock and leaves time for the opponent to comeback like Detroit and GBay last year? Or perhaps you mean stay aggressive on D which leaves us vulnerable to the long passes that got us beat in Detroit last year.

What some fans really want is for the team to simply replicate the parts of the game that go well for us. Easier said than done.

I think the lesson learned for the fans is not to be so hot and cold on this site....the sky was falling for a lot of people after the philly game....

The sky falls 8 times a year or so.

you think people learn lessons?;)

either dallas is awesome and you shouldn't point out flaws...
Or they suck because someone has said so and they will tell everyone else with every loss or bad play.

Its just the truth of this team. Our defense is still as bad as last season they just work harder than they did last season and our offense works pretty hard to keep them off the field.

It doesnt look good right now. Offense is excellent. Defense is pretty much the same as last season except they simply work harder and are off the field for large portions of the game.

If they have to make stuff happen....well its 33-10. or 3 straight scores given up. they have had some nice moments this season but ultimately they just are not very good.

Wish there was a quick fix but I think the defense needs 7 players. feel bad for tony.

Our D is simply not very good. I don't blame the scheme ... we need better players.

this is on the money. the scheme will evolve with better players....
going to a prevent late in games with more than a two score lead is almost a layup in the NFL...

It is true that we lack talent, but the Bears ran the same play about 20 times in a row. Over the middle to Forte, middle to Bennett, middle to (insert name). It's either scheme or stupid players at that point.

Tell this to the people that wanted Romo and Murray pulled from the game after we went up 35-7.
I can see that, if it was like 8 minutes left in the game, but bot at the point it was.
