We all saw a nearly religious experience last night.

So many story lines here.

But I think the one least seen is the HC.

Garrett made a speech the night before the game that apparently carried over to the game.

This team plays for Garrett.

They have a real affection for him.

We need to stop with the calls to ride Garrett out of town on a rail.

Garrett in the last 4 weeks has kept this team together and motivated them.

Jerrah has been a most interesting GM with the Cooper trade..

his on camera pronouncements of his team's character.

Garrett has not changed in times of stress.

The team can see him as their anchor to the owner..

and their in the trenches leader.

4th down punt formation runs..

going for 4th downs as needed.

Challenging plays has become much better.

Not sure any other coach could do this with this team.

So let's try to enjoy this and wait and see what happens.

Good stuff
Just wish Garrett was as good in the other hc departments as he is in the motivational one

That’s still my issue but all the props in the world for what he’s done the last 4 weeks. I hope this is s continuous trend vs a few weeks up hang a hat on. Winning is much more fun

I’m done with Garrett but I’ll applaud him for not getting this team to quit after the Titans game and I’ll applaud him for how he managed the end of that football game.

The choice to throw to cooper after Payton made the mistake of calling the TIme Out just before the 2 minute warning that drew the pass interference won us the game.

Garrett is fine. I think the offensive personnel needs to be refreshed. Linehan has traits I do like that some don't seem to appreciate (the way he sets up defenses by creating tendencies and then exploiting them with a wrinkle for instance), but the philosophy could just use someone new.

I'd like to see Garrett with a new OC. Last night got Garrett his extension in Jerry's eyes.
I think you will get your wish in 2019. Linehan shows flashes of creativity, but can't keep it up throughout the course of a game. We need a creative mind that can make the best of Dak's skillset. I don't think Dak will ever be a top 10 passer, but he is good enough to win in this league (as he has proven). I think a new OC and an experienced QB coach could significantly improve his decision making, etc. Not sure how they are going to coach him up on pocket awareness though.

Garrett is a good coach. Not a GREAT one but better than a lot of other NFL coaches and much better than most fans want to give him credit for. Since he has taken over, we draft better, our cap is better and we have been pretty good, except '15 when we had no QB, and he has to be blamed there. But overall, his tenure has been pretty good and with the team this young, if we can just get consistent play at the QB level (which Dak has been doing lately), this team will be dangerous.

Can we still get rid of SL...

he and dak are tied and regardless of last night they are underachieving this season..why do I say this well Garett can be directly tied into the titans and Texans losses by not being more aggressive on the limited decsions on punting or going for it etc etc..this team has shown over 4 games that we should have better record but Gareatt and Scot have found ways to get us to 3-5 and Amari, new OL coach and desperate times have turned this around but I sniffed some of that last night with the play calls and odd decsions to not ull the red flag , even last Game with Washington..Jerry should sit down with Will and Stephen and discus this regardless of this seasons record but we are fighting for our lives to overcome the 3-5 which is more attached to Garett and scot then the players themselves..we blew a shot to be 9-3 at worse this week 10-2 at best..

We dont control who Jerry will keep and will have to deal with it BUT if Garett gets the nod next season his FIRST move should be fire ScotL and get a better OC and QB coach and let them tailor it to this current bunch of players..
My issue is Garett staying will he try to hold on to his old offense or will he let the new OC/QB coach make it big changes to it? Call more aggressive creative plans? if the answer is yes I can love with Garett staying but NOT Scot and Moore

we gotta stop defending mediocrity kids.

Garrett held that offense back, or it is the QB. at this point idk. That offense has got to get firing, it has to many weapons not to.

Some players need to be cut. I dont know why the RICO experiment continues, use him or cut him. Lance Lenior, gone, Allen Hurns, gone. Fine tune the offense.

I am willing to give Garrett the benefit of the doubt if they replace Linehan and Garrett's playbook. It's all about the materials and the tools. Give two men the same ones and one will guild a castle and the other, an outhouse.

Its great that he gives good speeches. But we all know that it was the defense that carried this team. Not his speeches or the offense.

WE still need a good OC. If we can't get rid of Garrett we need an new OC here to teach Dak and to run a real NFL offense.
