Can we discuss all the ramifications of drafting a qb with our first pick ?

Realistically whatever probably not right ?

But if there’s a guy they like I really wish they’d perform a strong football move and get the guy .

I always feel like they’re selling me something but I don’t think i need that. I’m a sports fan I’m a dork I like following roster stuff I would understand draft a young qb and not having immediate performance from our top rookie

In fact while I’m rambling I feel this team continually puts too much expectations on rookies from the top 5 rounds. A lot of these guys are good players but are expected to start and fill an immediate hole and that feels like a nightmare if I’m 21. These guys should have vets and stability in the locker room to help them gain confidence and develop properly . Mazi guyton Carson whom ever .

But anyways more specifically I guess there’s cam ward, Dion sanders jr and I think there’s a drop off but I would feel pretty enthused as a fan if they had like cam ward and they worked in developing the entirety of the team too to bottom with no insane huge holes that are stressful (like running game or run d)

It’s as about as useful a discussion as taking a punter with the first pick!

You can take all of the other factors out, there isn’t a QB they SHOULD like at pick #12. 2 QB’s will be gone and the #3 QB isn’t 1st round worthy…and it’s debatable if the top 2 are

only qb who would have my interest at 12 is miami's cam ward.
thats it...thats the list.

there is no QB in this draft worth a first rd pick so the threat is worthless

Zero chance they take a QB in the first or probably before day 3.
Stephen mentioned drafting a QB, but that would be in the 5th rd or later to be the #3 behind Dak and Rush.
