Can we find competition for Turpin?

Surely there has to be another guy that's quick/has good speed and can return the ball. I know this is a small issue compared to what we're currently going through, but it's time to focus on other players on this team than Dak, Micah, and the coach!! Please give your thoughts

If he isn't going to be a factor on offense he should see some competition for his job IMO. Just 10 kick returns and 13 punt returns on the season. The rules have basically made kickoff meaningless as so many are auto touchbacks and the Cowboys are mostly in block formations on the punt team. Not worth the roster spot if hes going to be a ST only player.

That's exactly why he's feared!! But I can say this about some other players who had a GREAT first year and they're still praising these players

Not only that, he makes decisions to return in situations that end up costing us. A lot of this comes down to coaching... I like Turp, but I also know we can upgrade that roster spot with a more productive player.

He does very little in the regular season (other than run the wrong direction or allow punts roll dead inside the 10).

I ready for them to move on from his lil butt too. Taking the ball out endzone running half speed, dude awareness is lacking.

Let Duece be the return man, at least, I know he's going to do the right things.

So, just replace Turpin just for the sake of replacing Turpin? Is that really the path we think will lead to a better team.

I don't really know why McCarthy doesn't use him more on offense, but if he's not going to carve out a role, there's no point in having him on the roster.
