Can we fix things this offseason?

Oline: sign one (Mankins?) draft two and cut Holland, McQ, and Proctor. WR: Roy Williams needs to take a pay cut.....and then some. Then sign, or trade for a vet that can line up on the outside and take pressure off Austin. Safety: goodbye Hamlin, once and for all. LB: Brooking is inspirational but was exposed today. Keep him as a backup only. Kicker: get one, now.

Gotta find a way to get a top two seed next year. That bye is huge. I really do think this team is close, but jerry and the scouting staff to come up with another solid draft, another good O-lineman would be huge. I also think free and brewster need to step up next year. The future is now for these guys.

All I hear is that Free did ok, and that our other o-line (Davis, Kosier, etc) are decent. Then how did Romo get sacked so many times?

Who messed up in our o-line? Yes, Colombo played bad, but I also saw tons of pressure up the middle. Is it Gurode's fault? Kosier?

Colombo did give up like 4 of the sacks. And on most plays the guy ran right around him.

I have been a Kosier fan but he was abused today as was Free and Witten.

So was Columbo. So, yea, 3 guys getting trashed is enough to get you 6 sacks.

Gurode and Bigg are physical but they handle stunts about as well as Carpenter handles taking on offensive linemen.

There were multiple guys around Romo all day. He had pressure right up the middle virtually every play. At least one of those sacks by Ray Edwards came when he stunted up through the middle of the line. On another sack Williams backed off the line half a second than came forward and Kosier ignored him to double Allen.

We need a LT to eventually replace Flozell. Free isn't the answer. He showed that today.

I don't think its fair to make that comment based on one game. A game in which he did not expect to play. He was not involved in the gameplan/blocking scheme and probably did not get one single rep at left tackle in practice. Don't forget that this guy was a RT and played well while Columbo was out. It takes more than a tap on the shoulder to go in a play LT in the NFL.

Yeah. There were also plays where Romo is sacke and Kosier isn't blocking ANYONE.

1. Championship caliber coach
2. Draft Tackle 1st round.
3. Kosier to Center, Gurode to Guard or draft/free agent guard.
4. Trade/release Barber.
5. Stud speedster Wide Receiver, not a TO type with all the distractions.
6. Big NT move Rat to DE.
7. Star Safety, good luck, not many available.
8. Punt returner, kick off return.
9. Kicker.

We need continued improvement from guys on the roster and some additional adds thru the draft or free agency

Free needs to step up and take the RT spot
(1) of our drafted ILB's need to take B.Carpenter's spot
Ogletree needs to claim the 3rd WR spot.
Contunued improvement by A.Ball

Needs - OT
WR
FS
KR
DL

all we need is a o-line which gives romo a chance and these guys have blown 2 playoff games in 3 years.we need better, romo needs better .JJ needs to do "whatever it takes"to draft one of the best LT's in draft and also draft a backup to gurode .

Maybe our o-line is just dumb... They are good at run blocking, and can handle one on one situations (except for Colombo), but they simply can't recognize blitzes or block the right guy.

The O-Line was exposed today. They needed to have a big game but instead were a no-show.
