Can we get Sean McDermott?

Am I missing something? Why are we acting like Allen is a better passer than Dak? He’s a very good running quarterback but he’s not even mediocre as a passer - he’s downright bad currently. Now he can certainly improve, but Dak is way ahead of him in every way as a passer outside of arm strength which we’ve seen many times over is irrelevant without touch (Vick, Jeff George, jamarcus Russell, etc).

This seems like a classic grass is always greener scenario.

Exactly...what has McDermott accomplished that is so great? Has lost 2 wildcard games in 3 seasons as HC.

Bills lost to the Pats twice this year and to the Ravens, Jets and Iggles at home.

Finished 10-6 his best record so far and just lost to the Texans.

0-6 vs Pats.

Took a terrible Buffalo team and took them to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years as head coach. What has Garrett done in his first 3 years as head coach?

Maybe you missed Allen's meltdown in the 4th today. He collected himself a bit, but was very much responsible for the choke job in Houston this afternoon.

He was under tremendous pressure. He did have a few clutch plays. Their penalties did him in though.

Has he won his division yet? No
Has he won a playoff game yet? No
Has he beaten all his division rivals at least once? No

You guys are propping McDermott up like he's Harbaugh or McVay in turning the Bills around.....not even close!
Even worse, you throw Garrett in the mix to make him look good?

Cmon...this is just sad.

NO because the Patriots has been winning it in over a decade. How long did Garrett take to win in the weakest division in football?

Has won a playoff game yet?

Nope. But he is getting close. Two wildcard appearance in his first 3 years as coach. Not bad for a team who was a bottom feeder for so many years. Compare that to Garrett who inherited a good team with a good QB. How long did it take him to win a playoff game?

Has he beaten all of his division rivals at least once?

Nope. But that's a silly question. They will eventually. Buffalo is on an upswing. Once Bellicheck and Brady decide to hang it up the Patriots will be on a down swing. Then you'll see Buffalo consistently win. Now compare him to Garrett. Garrett hasn't done squat in 10 years. So yeah, I'd take Mcdermont in a heart beat over our crappy coach.

Why would he leave a team he has built that has a competent GM and a hands off owner?

The Dallas job isn’t as attractive as many of you think.

Nice summary. We tend to look at the newest shiny “ this years coach” and forget minus the Pats there’s no
Year I. Year out contender / champ coach minus Belichick.

Even with all the success of the Saints it’s been a long time almost 10 years since they hoisted their only trophy
