At least he can put the threat of the run in the run option. Painful seeing old man Dak just trying to find a soft spot to fall on. No threat whatsoever ....and his fear didn't help any.

Troy is zero threat as a passer. Gimmicky run option packages will do nothing for him.

Option plays. Qb runs. Keep defense off guard. I’d use him like saints use taysom hill.

he is a running QB> perhaps, some trick plays on short yardage situations where he comes in and runs it. or gives defense something to think about. safe pass plays where he can get rid of it quickly or run it himself.

wouldn't be such a bad idea. but for us to use him like that, he has to beat rush as QB2.
