Can we please stop with the jersey sales approach?

I heard John Madden say what I've felt for a long time. We didn't even LOOK like the Dallas Cowboys yesterday.

Jerry, can you please stop looking for more ways to make money for just a second, and leave us in the best looking uniforms in NFL history? Leave the uniforms alone please, and if you MUST change them twice a year to put more bucks in your pocket, PLEASE don't change them in the biggest game of the year.

It's not as if the Cowboys have bad uniforms to begin with.
On a scale of 1 to 10, these throwbacks are like 2.

For the record the games were determined before pre-season in which we would be in the throw-back uni's. So there was no way to know how BIG those said games would be back then.

As an aside I liked the look of the white helmets three years ago, but it is time to change, wear some 70's or 90's looking Blue throwback jersey's with the silver and blue helmets; if you simply must tinker. Or come up with something new for our Blue Road Jerseys Only, but keep the tradition of our White's at Home year round.

I agree with everything you just said. Its sucks the life out of me when they were that bull at home, apparently jerry cares about money more than he does about us fans. They better burn that stupid clown uniforms and throw them ashes in the gulf of mexico.

Good point acheman, didn't know they were predetermined. Even so, if you plan to be in the playoff race you would guess the next to last game of the year might be important.

TRADITION means nothing if you are the Titans, or the Chicago-St. Louis - Arizona Cardinals.

but TRADITION means something if you are the Yankees, Celtics, Cowboys.

We have the classiest looking uniforms in the league and have for as long as we have been silver and blue, don't mess with the unis.

Well they are nationally televised, holiday games, pretty much guranteeing lots of exposure.

I'm with Madden. The team's colors are silver and blue, not blue and white. Stick with what you already have and forget the throwback nonsense. It looks much better.

I absolutely abhor the throwbacks and the ridiculous white helmets

we're proffesionals, the Dallas Cowboys... not some JV little league team wearing clown suits.... I HATE THOSE STUPID THROWBACKS AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN!!!! and I will NEVER buy one

rcaldw, you are right, of course.

Such is life in the over-the-top marketing environment of today's NFL.

Think he was commenting on the uniforms? or the sissy, uninspired play of guys who weren't physical and had no heart?

and Madden's continued comments of Garcia as soon as he got the lead, well Favre might as well been there. I choked on my own upchuck screaming for him to shut up!!!
