I don't think he is a bubble guy. I think he makes the team and contributes this year in a positive way.

The guy I am concerned with is Beasley. That whole leaving camp because his heart wasn't in it concerns me. His talent doesn't, but his desire does.

I don't think he really deserves to make the roster and we're not incredibly deep at safety so we could carry him. Not sure if he's worth carrying on the practice squad.

i agree, but if the team didnt feel like he was something special, they wouldnt have brought him back either.

Johnson made the team when Pool was cut. And, no, I don't think he'd make it onto the PS.

We need him to stay healthy, I really want him to make the team but this injuries are closing his chance, but if cutting Poole made was a spot for him then so be it. He was Getting all the hype like Justin Beriault once was. I really hope we don't loose him.

Wanna bet? If we carry another safety on the 53, it will be Silva. Not a guy who's done nothing the entire preseason. Johnson will be lucky to be on the PS.

Not a soul was talking about him prior to the draft, that's for sure.

The Beriault comparison may be valid. I thought Justin was a real good prospect who just never got a chance to show it. Maybe Matt Johnson is that too. Or maybe he's just a 4th round mega reach the fan base immediately crowned as a steal.

It's too early to say. It's not like we got to see him much in college playing at Eastern Washington.
