Actually this is not a bad read. He just had to put a little more altitude on the ball and get it deeper into the end zone. But this is always going to be a problem when you are throwing to a 5'9" WR. If that was Tolbert running into the middle like that, it would have been an easier throw. I know Cooks is listed at 5'10" but looking at him on the field I think he is closer to 5'8".
he is made for deep 9 routes....not in traffic

Yup, this is the problem losing to a team like Arizona. The Giants already beat them. So did Washington. But it is a long season and they have time to make up for this loss. It starts with beating SF, then the Eagles.
but we got to beatdown the Beli-cheat Pats first....which i believe we will handly....cant post PLAT this week i promised....but want to go OCTO

Yes, you own the ship.
well being in Navy..it meant i missed LIberty....sailors love their liberty in ports...one time after a night of drinking i had munchies so we snuk into chiefs lounge

and grabbed plate full of food and as i was coming out of the hidden escape hatch....my chief was standing right there....he said Bass give me your ID card

no liberty for you for few days....i said awww man come on Chief....you know how it is....you were young once too....and he said yes....and he lost his liberty too

we got to go 3-0 next three games if we are the team we looked like first two weeks.....its up to coaches develop scheme...and make plans to adjust if

starting scheme not working....we cant slip back into the Garrett days of just beat the man in front of you regardless if he is far superior.....he was so

caught up in 90's cowboys thinking he could replicate...he never had personnel or coaching wisdom

They always have a shot.

But I just don't see it, not yet.

Not with that putrid Red Zone play calling and execution.

Not with McCarthy going for it unnecessarily when the points and momentum mattered. Stupid decision, unless he had some wondrous play that he knew had a high chance of working. He didn't.

Not with this defense that still too soft against the run, which neutralized the pass rush. And without turnovers and sacks, this defense is far from dominant...and they simply can't count on sacks and TOs every game to be their mantra on defense. This ain't no '85 Bears, or even the 2000 Ravens defense - a Dee which set several NFL records during the 2000 season, including fewest points ever allowed during a 16-game season (165) and fewest rushing yards ever allowed (970). The defense also forced more turnovers than any team in the league that year (49). And they had 4 shutouts. Quinn's got a ways to go to be at the helm of such a defense. That year, it was hard to get a first down in many of those games against the Ravens, let alone a TD.

So, yeah, the Cowboys have a shot, but as constructed, they need quite a bit of work to make a deep playoff run. And really, I don't like their body language. I think Dak is starting to lose the locker room a bit, and I don't know if everyone loves Micah's mouth...because he can't always cash all the checks his mouth writes. Thus, the Cowboy's culture is not the best either.

I just don't know about this team, not yet. And putting my trust and faith in McCarthy, it's getting harder and harder...
i can see your point of view....my problem i love to drink the Kool-Aid....taste so good....until that bad taste like after Arizona?

Am I the only one and sick and tired of the negativity around here? If I am, let me know and I'll back off on the haters, Madden players and wannabe fans suck! They come out of their shells anytime we lose. Nothing productive, just Trolling and hating.
No you aren’t many of us are. I’ve been tired of these whiners for better part of a couple years

Not jumping out the window, but we're seeing the exact same problem we've seen against the 49ers. Certain teams like the Cardinals, Broncos or 49ers just out-physical us and have us looking sloppy and playing catch-up the whole game. We may very well have to play both the 49ers and Eagles on our playoff run (given we make it) so having sloppy game where a team beats you up from start to finish isn't going to cut it.
Ok so what’s your point? Coming in here because realization the team is flawed again perhaps and whining like crazy is gonna change the results on the field?

If you look at our schedule most has us in 12-5 range to 10-7 we were gonna lose 1 or 2 we shouldn’t and win 1 or 2 we shouldn’t and we are gonna most likely gonna have to be on the road in playoffs anyhow

We are not built as good as the 2 teams you mentioned. Both of them are better in trenches and can stop the run and run better and both of them have a qb that makes better choices and isn’t afraid to run.

Any given Sunday you can win or lose . If your issue is your afraid this will be year 28 of no sb then you take this crap too serious. We got no sweat equity in this

It’s entertainment . I’d love a Lombardi but by Monday I was on the golf course and on to the patriots . I felt better the 2 weeks prior but also knew the season is young

They did this thing called "winning Super Bowls" which the current Cowboys have not.
Pre salary cap era bolstered by trade of century apples to oranges . Take away that trade you see different results

Regardless it’s early

I know they aren't going undefeated. So I accept we will lose some games. It's how you lose those games that mean more to me. Not even showing up and getting outcoached is the worst. Both happened yesterday. Both happening to a team considered to be among the worst in the league is the cherry on top.
This is exactly the point and I'm no hater. It's calling a spade a spade. Unfortunately this spade has reared its ugly head regardless of the coach, qb, and season for the past 28. Either way still rooting for the boys just realistic about it. Until they start winning games that matter and not losing like they did last Sunday.

Dear fellow CZ'ers....yes we lost Diggs but Bland will step in...i bet it will be seamless....and some lineman we are resting

but would start if crucial game...but i come in here and i thought our whole team died in a plane crash or something?...can

we slow our roll on the Negativity.....i get it...i go there too at times....but can we wait til team is under .500???....Just a thought???
Just curious, how long have you been a Cowboys fan? I'm assuming here that you ARE one and not some other team's fan just trolling here, just to be clear.

Me, I've been one for well over 50 years. So for me, and I'm sure many others, we are negative so much because we've seen this exact same scenaraio for decades. Decades! It's we get mediocre, then supposedly really good but can't crack the SB level, lose a heartbreaker game, then it's back to mediocrity, only to follow with another supposedly good team but have another heartbreaker game and we're not even able to get past round 2 of the playoffs.

I/We are sick of it....
