Can we stop complaining about Micah being held?

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
I believe he is referring to difference of opinions. Some complain to vent, some to get a spark from others. Some giving an opinion.
Which we know many fans see things different ways.
You're not allowed to see things different ways on here, if you do, you're bashed, and you're everything in the book except a Cowboys fan. Then you say something back, and get messages sent to you! Not fair, but hey, in the end we're all Cowboys fans. Whatever anyone says or sends me, Coog loves EVERYONE in here on game day (coog gets emotional) :(

I think if Garrett, Watt, and Bosa also have little holding penalties then we can't complain, but if there's a huge difference then it's a legit complaint

Tony Romo if I remember correctly only got 7 roughing the passer calls in from 2009 to the end of his career.
Several years he got NONE.
While some QBs got a lot of them.
Matt Ryan for example. 52 in his career I believe.

Yes we see it every play, or every few plays where he's held tighter than the lid on a pickle jar! What good is complaining going to do. Someone on the team needs to make this noted, i'm SURE they are. Something isn't working if he's getting held at times and nothing is being said about it. It seems like until he gets hurt, that's when the league will see it, it would suck if that would have to happen for the league to see this. I would like to compare Micah vs Watt on how many missed hold calls are missed.

In the end this team needs to just play football, the refs don't care about our well being, be safe, and keep it pushing!! Please give your thoughts
No, keep the complaining going. Cowboys fans have been able to bring national attention to the referee problem because we've long been the canary in the coal mine for referee malfeasance.

It used to be everyone just claimed Cowboys fans were complainers. Now, we have the entire sports fan world focused upon how bad and biased the referees have been.

It even caused so much pressure that the NFL knew all eyes were on the refs in the KC vs Buffalo and Dallas vs Philly games. Both ref crews were figuratively forced to call the games proper, and what do you know? The ref darling teams both lost.

We are starting to win this war on crooked officiating. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" is valid and true. Eventually, we'll get fairly officiated games for Cowboys players like Micah, but that won't happen if we just shut up and take it.

Romo was around 2000% less likely to get roughing calls than Brady or Rogers.

Fyi, there are 32 fan bases that constantly complain about officiating and are convinced the league is out to get them.

The Cowboys lead the league in calls against and penalty yards against right now this season.

From 2000 to 2022:

Number of Seasons with 100 or more penalties...
Cowboys (18 of 23 - last in the NFL)
Packers (11 of 23)
Steelers (9 of 23)

Number of seasons with 80 or less penalties...
Cowboys (0 - last in the NFL)
Steelers (3)
Packers (4)

People can claim "everyone is holding" or "all teams fans think the refs are out to get them" as red herrings, but only Cowboys can prove it both this year and over a long time period.

And this doesn't even take into account the non call bias that is robbing Parsons of an even greater career. If they called even 20% of the blatant holds against Parsons he would be the most disruptive player by far in the NFL and would be on his way to being one of the greatest pass rushers in history.

the idiots on the defensive line line up offside almost on every play. We going to complain about our dumb idiots not being able to look at the yard marker and know where the line of scrimmage is. Naw ....
