Can we stop worrying about playoff seeding?

Everyone is so scared of playing on the road because of one loss under cold and wet conditions. Maybe the thing you should be fearing isn't being on the road but rather playing under cold and wet conditions.
It wasn't that cold and wasn't that wet. Those are the reasons the Cowboys lost.

Had that game last Sunday been inside warm and dry AT&T Stadium the outcome would have been the same.

I prefer to multi task. The Eagles are imploding. The only question is if we will follow suit.
Think it’s time to forget about the Eagles, who don’t seem to play well against any team, and consider what has to happen in a rematch with San Francisco. Honestly, what NFC team other than the Cowboys has any chance of beating the 49ers? If there is not going to be a profound change there will be a similar result. Hoping the Giants win one against Philly and somehow SF stumbles will not change the fact the 49ers are in the playoffs and they are very good.

Other than the Cowboys? Huh? Cowboys have zero chance of beating the 49ers.

I've never known you to be a liar. I guess there is a first time for everything. It's a known fact that the Cowboys do not lose at home in 2023. I guess for you, "Cold" is an ambiguous term. It was in the forties. In my Texan mind, that qualifies as "Cold". It rained during the entire game so I don't know how much wetter it needs to be before you will concede it was a wet game. Not that that matters, you are not the arbiter of what's wet and cold. I'm not expressing my opinion, I'm stating facts, It was a cold and wet game.

And just focus on the team getting better for whatever outcome happens in the playoffs. Worrying about if we win out, if they lose, if the sun shines or not! Just focus on the big pictures we need to stay healthy, and stay motivated and go into the playoffs wherever we are, ready and will to make a big run!!

No, we can not stop being concerned about the Cowboys seeding in the NFC playoffs. There is a big difference between being a 2 seed and a 5 seed. With a team like the Cowboys, that does not lose at home, it matters a great deal where you play. Having the 2 seed gives the Cowboys at least one home game, maybe two or three. Having the 5 seed puts the Cowboys on the road and we all know how most people feel about the Cowboys being in the playoffs on the road.

Weird interesting fact.

The Giants -Philly game is much more important to our seeding hopes than our own game.

If Giants win all we need to do is win one and Washington.

Agreed, it was 49 and mostly dry until the game was way out of hand.

The game plan was garbage and there were no adjustments, also we are woefully thin at LB and DT

I agree with you. I feel if we are contenders then we can win at home or on the road. If we can’t beat SF then it doesn’t matter if we’re at home or on the road. And vice versa, if we can beat them we can do it in the road.

Now if we’re not a playoff caliber team that has benefited from a weak schedule then that’s to be determined. But in ‘92 the 49ers were heavily favored and considered the best team in the league. Just like this year. We were a team of destiny and we beat them.

I want home field advantage but I feel if the team is good enough it can overcome playing an away game. Those are my thoughts. But talking about it all the time is useless IMHO.

Well, let's see......

The Cowboys are undefeated in home games with a losing record in away games.

So.....no......we can't stop worrying about playoff seeding.

Already forgotten by halftime last week. We aren't getting the 1. Maybe if Philly continues to implode we win the division. Maybe. Either way, SF remains at home.
