Can we talk about Thomas

Thomas was a good safety that got lost during the draft process to playing on a terrible defense at GT.
Didn't help he was asked to do a lot and too much.
Was the best safety for GT since Morgan Burnett, but Burnett played back on a decent GT team.

Someone is doing an awesome job finding these types of guys that fit what Quinn is asking these hybrid LBer/Safties to do. We may be watching the next evolution of defense unfolding before our eyes. Flooding the secondary with waves of big guys who can run, cover, hit, blitz, and play the run and do it all with swagger. Quinn is bring out the best in all those guys.

Yeah it's weird how they couldn't find a safety for so many years and now they can't miss.

It helps when you have a DC that actually has a vision for players and a scheme that flexes to put them in the best position to succeed
