Can you believe this?

Well they certainly had a hard time keeping the offense in front of them, that's for sure.

Which had been their bread and butter all season, IMO.

That is Jerry speaking. I don't think the coaches or the players under estimated him. I sure hope they didn't.

It's just a salacious angle to a story with no substance. He just got a blurb from 105.3 The Fan without any elaboration.
And how would Jerry know they took Aaron Rodgers lightly? Was he privy to the game plan? Did he actually hear Jason Garrett say this?
If he did, why didn't he fire Jason Garrett on the spot, unless Jerry himself was part of the decision-making?
I'm not buying it. It was just a drunken Jerry popping off like he normally does.

If they did, that would be a "fireable" offense.

Jason: "Yeah, Jerry, we underestimated one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history and the Packers only hope for beating us, robbing you of the opportunity to make millions more in this lovely palace you've built us."

Jerry: "You're the idiot I always suspected you to be. I'll find another personal hand puppet. You're FIRED!!!"

Sure is and you should never under estimate any opponent. History is liters with people under estimating others. The British with the American colonies, the 1980 US Olympic Ice Hockey team just to name a few.

I think we over-estimate Jerry's intelligence and common sense

What does that mean, anyway, that "the Cowboys underestimated Aaron Rodgers?" That the coaches failed to tell the team how good the guy really is? That the players played less hard until they estimated Rodgers' ability correctly? That none of them had watched any film of the guy tearing the league up at a historic rate or embarrassing one of the best defenses in the league last week?

I don't know what Jerry was talking about or what the author of the story thinks he knows, but I have a really, REALLY hard time believing the Cowboys lost Sunday because they didn't know how good Aaron Rodgers was.

Maybe they over estimated their on defense. Under estimating Rodgers isn't that unbelievable.
