First of all, I hope that each and every one of you is having a safe and pleasant holiday. I also want to thank each person that's served in the military and those that lost loved ones for their service. Okay, that being said, here is my question. Can you change the running game approach and still keep the offensive goals in tact?
The line should be better.
The running game should (but may not be) placed in higher importance by the offensive coordinator.
My wish list for the running game:
The line should be better.
The running game should (but may not be) placed in higher importance by the offensive coordinator.
My wish list for the running game:
- use of a lead back (fullback, f-back or h-back)
- a larger running back or one that can run in between the tackles and get 3-4 yards each time.
- I would like to see some counter trey action.
- more use of two tights on the same side of the line
- I want this team to be able to say "we are running right through THAT hole and we are gonna stomp a mud hole through your backside when we do it and have you beg us to just score so as to not inflict more pain.
- being able and being willing to run when close to the goal line and 90% (would prefer 100%) conversion rate on 3rd and 2 and less. Yeah I know wishful thinking.
