Can you imagine a coach that brings in their own staff?

I was talking about his original staff. He also was the biggest influence on Moore leaving. And any other change, such as firing Nolan and bringing in Quinn. That had to be hard for Jerry to do. I believe Jerry wanted to go the way of Garrett, and have Moore as the next HC after MM.

Zimmer, yes agree, that was probably more on Jerry. However MM probably had some input, though not much or the final say.
Unfortunately we still cant rule that out...

2007: Jason Garrett named offensive coordinator. Jerry Jones NFL experience? 18 years.

2019: Kellen Moore named offensive coordinator. Jerry Jones NFL experience? 30 years.

Respectfully, I do not think the amount of experience is Jerry Jones' problem. I believe any NFL experience does not alter his mindset. Jones would have hired a general manager no later than 2003 if it had.
I agree! I'm just saying at one time, he had no choice. The whole problem begins with Jerry hanging around Jimmy and thinking putting together a team is easy and that he could do it. He's been trying to prove it for 28 years and running,

Parcells kept Zimmer, not sure if that was a compromise or if he really wanted him.
If I recall the story was always that Parcells wanted to completely clean house, but Jerry forced Parcells to have a meeting with Zimmer. Feels like more of a compromise to me.

Great QBs do more than just play on Sunday, they lead the team. Also Michael Irvin and Haley would be tearing this place apart and beating on any slacking players. They wanted to win more than garner a large paycheck.
Agree 100% this basically says it all. Instead of guys like Irvin and Haley we have losers like Dak, Diggs, Lamb, Parsons and D Flaw. These guys are born and bred pay check collectors. They preach this stuff to the young players. Almost the entire locker room is tainted now. You might be able to salvage a few (Ferguson, Bland, Smith) but you better hurry.
