Can you imagine if Plax played for the 'Boys? Ed Werter would be in his hospital room talking about how this would effect the Boys and Wilson runs an undisciplined team. Seriously, it would be a zoo.

Who is Wilson?

The world may never know.

Whoever this Wilson is, screw him for making this team so undisciplined.

Oh my.

I open the thread and find two most famous Wilsons of all time! What a treat! :lmao2:

I agree with the OP's main point though. It's not been made a big deal out of, like it should have been. Felonies are serious. Not just if you're a Cowboy.

I swear you guys don't pay attn unless it's the Cowboys. That's ALL that's been talked about in the news. The Plax story is plastered everywhere. There are ESPN takes ALL over ESPN.com. Stories on foxsports.com, yahoo, AP, PFT, etc. If that's not being made a big deal, then I don't know what it is.

What I'd like to imagine is one day where no one will post "Can you imagine if so-and-so cowboy player had done the same thing?"

The Giants are the Super Bowl Champions and Plax is the guy who caught the winning TD pass against a previously undefeated team. Of course it is big news......

Wow, I'm sorry. I'm really, truly, sorry. Did my ignorance sting you or something?

Of course it's going to be reported! Was it "analyzed" nearly as much as it would've been if it was TO? I highly doubt that. I guess what I was referring to in particular was Sunday Countdown, since that's about the only sports "news/analysis" I watch. They didn't have a fifteen minute segment devoted to bashing the Giants, unless I missed it.

Hell, I remember earlier in the year TO was absolutely ripped into for 15 minutes on Countdown for I don't even remember what. But I can guarantee you it wasn't a felony.

I don't have a problem with it being big news. Never said otherwise. It's a big story as it should be. Reading my post, it was clearly against those who always say "If this had been TO..." it would be MUCH bigger news. It may be, but it's pretty big already if one pays attn to the news cycle.

Nope, your ignorance didn't sting me and while I quoted your post, I was also referring to the OP and others like them that tend to be posted whenever another player in the league gets in trouble.

My only point is ESPN isn't the sole source for news. It may be for many, but there are other outlets and if one pays attn, they'll see that the Plax story is all over the place.

Why? because it's the truth. where is cowboy hater Roger Goodell on this. as we saw with Pacman jones. he rushed his guys in here fast. and suspended him fast. the idea that all is fair when it comes to how media covers the cowboys is a joke.
