Can you name all three running backs in the Cowboys Ring of Honor?
Don Perkins, Tony Dorsett and Emmitt Smith are the three running backs in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.

Perkins was the first of the three running backs inducted into The Ring.
Perkins’ ceremony took place at halftime of the Giants-Cowboys game on November 7, 1976. Perkins played for Dallas from 1961-1968. He was the NFL Rookie of the Year in 1961. He was elected to six Pro Bowls and finished among the Top 10 rushers in the NFL in each of his 8 seasons. Interestingly, Perkins was signed before Dallas was granted its NFL franchise. He signed a personal services contract in 1959; the Cowboys’ first season was 1960.
Tony Dorsett was inducted into the Ring of Honor on October 9, 1994. Dorsett, the Heisman Trophy winner at Pitt, was the Cowboys’ first round draft pick (#2 overall) in 1977 and was named NFL Rookie of the Year. He played from 1977-1987 and finished his career as the second leading rusher in NFL history. He also holds the record for longest rush in NFL history (99 yard touchdown run at Minnesota).
Emmitt Smith, the NFL’s all-time leading rusher, was inducted into the Ring of Honor (alongside fellow triplets Troy Aikman & Michael Irvin) at halftime of the Commanders-Cowboys game on September 19, 2005. No player in the history of the league has more rushing touchdowns (1964) or rushing yards (18,355). He was elected to eight Pro Bowls, won four NFL rushing titles, was named league MVP (1994), and was the MVP of Super Bowl XXVIII.
