Can you really Blame Romo on the picks?

He hit his receivers in the hands. Not perfectly, but comeon.

Both picks were on tip ups by his own guys. There were a couple of other "drops". Passes can't be "perfect" all the time.

For the most part I thought Romo threw the ball well. He didn't do the panicking risk taking picks, he threw the ball hard and the receivers faced the ball and got their hands on the passes, the luck of the bounces was terrible.

I continue to think the QB is not the problem here. He gives a chance to win. RW is cursed. Not sure what his Wonderlic was. He tries. He goes over the middle and makes tough catches. BUT then he coughs it up in critical spot. He is cursed. No karma there. Still can't figure out the misfires with Tony, whether it is Roy at wrong spot each time, Romo throwing to wrong spot or 1/2 and 1/2.

Dez looks amazing. Austin was partially responsible on the pick and had a drop by running before catching, BUT he looks like a top 5 WR in this league.

The stupidity and timing of penalties and miscuess remains the key. Not sure how that is fixed. Is it attitude, smarts, coaching, discipline, etc?

Not the first one, but definately the second one.

Both count though. Those plays happen.

I am not a Romo Basher at all. But I just don't see the fire in him.

you want him to kick the ball at people like Rivers does?

Romo is fine and is a good leader.

I told this forum a month ago...

Romo picks would go up this year...even if he played as well.

50% of interceptions come down to picks, batted balls, or whether a safety or linebacker can actually corral a misthrown ball and pull it in.

But there is no disputing that Romo's been off. He seems to be rushing balls.

Romo is good enough to win it all. I will say since that hand injury in 08 his accuracy is not what it was. Maybe because he is constantly running for his life.

If the ball hits you in your shoulder pad, I don't know how the QB is at fault.

Both no, IMO.

If the ball hits you in the hands, you catch it....even one hand.

Romo is thee most overrated QB in the NFL, lots of empty numbers, he misses passes game in and game out especially at key points of the game, passes behind the receiver, way over their head or at their feet, that's on Romo, not the receiver, Romo throws to an area, not a spot, and in the NFL, you have to throw to spots, not an area, this isn't college

The throw to Witten was horrible. Witten had to slow down just to try to catch it.

Romo made some good throws, but then some awful ones also. If he makes a good throw to Choice, we've got another TD and maybe win the game.

Romo deserves his share of blame for today's game.

You can almost see it in Romo's face that he knows this team isn't good enough. He looks jittery and uncomfortable. This team will go as he does but it would help to have a headcoach that could instill some discipline and accountability. This team has NONE whatsoever right now. No fire, no passion..it's sad they could not build off previous success.

Throw to Austin was high, but he got his hands on it and should have held on.... The one to Witten was behind him, good route by Witten bad throw by Romo...

Romo was off this game, not a lot, but was off.

Miles got his hands on the ball then was hit hard and the ball popped out. Can't blame Austin or Romo in that case. The pass was behind Witten. Unless Witten ran a bad route, you've got to blame Romo.

I agree, he wasn't horrible, but he wasn't good either.

Romo has been off in the most critical of times.

Like someone already mentioned, if he hits Choice accurately, that may have been a TD. Last week, if he leads Miles properly on 4th down, thats also a TD.

Ahhhhhhh so freaking frustrating.

Romo has to be at or near perfect in order for us to win.

That is not fair, but it is reality.

Many fans take him for granted.

Gee I wonder why. Porous O line will do that. So will wanting to "get that play back" or "hey we're down and there's pressure for us to win." Almost seems like they we're rushing things just to get the lead back to make everything feel ok again.

The Miles pick was on Miles, Witten's was on Romo. Pretty cut an dry.
