Doesn't look like he's going get more than $5M.......
ZACH BROWNLB, WASHINGTON Commanders

ESPN's John Keim believes the Commanders will cut LB Zach Brown.
Keim writes it is just a "matter of time." Owed $6.75 million in 2019, Brown saw his role decrease significantly late last season. Washington will save $5.75 million by showing Brown the door. A good player who does not turn 30 until October, Brown should not have much trouble finding a new team if he is released.

He won’t come here he’ll get a chance to start somewhere.

i personally would not want to spend that much on the SLB. doesn't play enough. i'd rather spend that on wr3, te1, safety or 1T. i'd be comfortable with joe thomas or covington to take the role.

I totally agree. SLB doesn't see the field enough to warrant such an investment. You would never see an adequate return simply due to the lack of playing time.

And that's why this team never pays money at that position.

I think when we see all 3LBers on the field we end up seeing Smith at SAM which will only be a minimal amount of plays because basically teams dont run 2 wr set all that often anymore. Lee will be getting between 10-15snaps a game im thinking.

I like Zach Brown, always have. I wanted to draft him coming out of UNC. He's actually a MLB so if the idea were to move Smith, then I could see it but if the idea is to use Brown at Sam, then I don't think he is worth the investment. He is much better suited to Mike. JMO

I’ve seen him in Washington and for someone with his speed he does not seem to use it to the best of his abilities

However I would take a flyer on him

Whomever he signs with is getting a damn good player.

Him and Kerrigan are two stud backers for the Skins.

But sadly, he’s going to want to be paid since he was hosed before.

Kerrigan isn't really a backer, he's a bigger edge who would probably be best in a 4-3 scheme anyway

Zach Brown can get a starting LB spot somewhere...just not in Dallas. Signing Brown isn't cost effective. NYG might be first team to call this guy. Good player tho.

Re-sign DWilson for vet minimum or draft a banger late in the Draft..... LBs are easy to find

OK....assuming Wilson will take vet min or we can find a day-one starter with a late draft pick. I agree they're easy to find but we need a starter.
