Cannot Argue with the "Special Teams" Bottom of Roster Moves

If we looked at preseason objectively we would admit that special teams is our weakest unit, which would explain these recent moves.

I understand the thinking but how do you fit these special team only guys on the gameday roster. Something tells me they will mostly be inactive and if so, what was the point?

I have no problem with keeping guys who can have an impact on special teams. But we better be darn good on special teams then. Remember our "special teams draft" a few years ago? Any team that dedicates an entire draft to special teams should be amazing. I remember us still being below average after that draft.

Agreed. What you'd like is for the draft to bring competition for starting jobs and have some of those guys play STs well. Potential starters should be able to play STs. And obviously final cuts have STs as part of the equation. You're right.
